Frequently Asked Questions . . .
How does Child Care Subsidy (CCS) work?
Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is provided by the Australian Government to help eligible families reduce their childcare fees. The amount of CCS you receive depends on your family income, activity level, and hours of care used. Click here to find out more about Childcare Subsidy
We are happy to support families with general information and encourage you to contact Services Australia to confirm your eligibility and entitlements.
What is Start Strong funding?
Start Strong funding is NSW Government funding that helps reduce the cost of preschool for eligible children aged 3 years and over. This funding supports children to access high-quality early education in the years before school and is applied as a fee reduction for families who meet the eligibility criteria. Start Strong Weekly Fee Relief is applied to families accounts and is between $8.29 and a maximum of $50.25. Click here to find out more about Start Strong Funding.
We are happy to explain how this applies to our service and support families with any questions.
Do you offer a preschool program?
Yes. Our Marri Room (3–5 years) offers a preschool program running from 9am to 3pm at a discounted rate, designed to support children as they prepare for primary school. This program has a strong focus on social and emotional development, confidence, independence, and school readiness, and is offered at a reduced rate to support families.
How do you communicate about my child’s day?
We believe open and honest communication is essential. Families receive regular updates about their child’s day through our secure online platform, including photos, learning moments, and key information such as meals, rest, and wellbeing. Click here to find out more about OWNA.
Educators are also always available for conversations, and we value ongoing communication and partnerships with families.
Will my child be treated as an individual?
Absolutely. Every child and family is unique, and we take the time to truly know each child — their interests, strengths, routines, and needs. Our programs and care practices are adapted to support each child’s individual development and wellbeing.
Can I book a tour before enrolling?
Yes, we strongly encourage families to book a tour before enrolling. A tour gives you the opportunity to meet our educators, explore our learning environments, ask questions, and see if our service feels right for your family. Click here to complete an Enquiry Form.
